18' Anduril - a group of 22 custom made designs, first built by Bobby Walsh owner of Mill Pond Boat Yard of Chatham MA, back in the late 60's and early 70's. Then the mold was bought and boats built by Roger Carroll of "Carroll Rogers Boat Carpenters, currently of South Chatham MA. All these hulls were originated of a first boat built for Mr. McGrath's grandfather, Art Gould who started Art Gould's Boat Livery in 1944. Mr. Gould had these boats specifically designed for the purpose of ferrying passengers back and forth to the outer beach after there were many inquiries on how people could get to the outer beach. It was necessary to have a boat that could carry passengers under any conditions and/or weather.These boats have been distributed across the country as one of the safest small crafts on water. Of the twenty two made, Mr. McGrath owns five of the fiberglass copies along with the original wood hull that belonged to his grandfather.
